I opted for Machu Picchu, and one day I will go there. It's not that
terribly far from us (southern California) and I love South American culture
and history.

Yes! Even the picture radiates a certain aura that seems to surround
the Machu Picchu. Your picture looks very inviting, rainkeeper Very Happy

Take away the shaggy goat and the grass, you've got Chaco Canyon.

How about Chicken Itza. There's a nearby chicken joint called Itsa Chicken.

I voted for Machu Picchu, but I'm interested in all of them, except for the Emerald Isle.

The photos and films I've see of Machu Picchu fascinate me.

A colleague of mine recently did a lengthy walking trip in South America, including Machu Picchu. She said there's really nothing like it in the world. It sounded fantastic - except for the 6 months of physical training she did in preparation for the trip.

Well, I've been to New Zealand a couple of times, and Ireland twice.

Both are bloody wonderful - and I look forward to going back.

I'd love to go to Machu Picchu - but doubt I'd survive the getting there, so chose Finland - I've only been there briefly and would love to see more of it.

Going to Turkey the end of this month, and am ridiculously pumped up. Not only did I get hooked up with cheap plane tickets, but we're going to have a place to stay, and will be hanging out with a high roller over there.

Oh, you're going to Turkey - I didn't know that. You've really done a good job keeping that secret under your hat ( )

(don't mind me, just envious)

I haven't been to any of the above, but I've been close to Erin (England) and New Zealand (Australia).

Which would I like to visit most? Depends. If I could submerge in a sub, maybe the South Pole. If I could leisurely hike and explore Machu Pichu..... off-season... maybe that. New Zealand is awesome and I love the landscape. And Ireland is, well, Ireland. Sorry, I can't decide. Now, if Iceland was on the list......

Well, I picked the emerald isle. Home of my fathers, County Mayo, with difficulties. Have not been there and would like to visit.
