UK and Aussie editions have different puzzles so I need more input from you; eg - How many letters? What 'crossing' letters do you have?

This is just a guess but my memory is telling me that mass kill weapons might be WMD (weapons of mass destruction). As lezzles said advising how many letters etc helps us to answer you questions.Good Luck.

"mass kill weapons" came up in an Aussie edition and the answer was "WMD"

"alum" as suggested by contrex is also correct.
