can someone show me how to derive f(x)= x!
What do you mean "derive"? Derive from what? Or do you mean "find the derivative"? If so, is 'x!' meant to be x factorial? If so, then you cannot take the derivative. This is because the function is only defined for whole numbers x, i.e. discrete values, and hence we cannot take the derivative.
The
Gamma Function extends factoral function to real and complex numbers. The Gamma function is continuous over parts of the real and complex planes and by using this factoral function extention the factoral funtcion is piecewise continuous and differentiable.
