I just did a search and nothing was found.

I've watched things on you tube before on this computer so can't understand it.

I can't even find Adobe Flash Player on my computer to un-install it. I looked in Start - then Programs..... it's not there.

Am I looking in the right place?

Go to Control Panel and from Control Panel choose Add or Remove Programs. You should see Adobe in there.

@Intrepid,
Hi Intrepid. Was gonna PM you but don't know how to on the new style A2K.

I went to control panel and the only Adobe things in there are Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Phot deluxe. Does this mean I don't have anything to un-install?

@Intrepid,
Hi Intrepid. Just tried to install again through the link provided by Rockhead. It didn't work. Not sure what else to do. No gold bar came up at the top of the browser window.

I tried changing the region to United Kingdom but that didn't work either.

@Dorothy Parker,
Well now it's saying succesfully installed. But when I go to you tube it's saying either I have Java Script turned off (what's that) or I need the new version of Flash Player.

Should I turn my computer off and on again?

I'm getting boring now aren't I?

Sorry.

I'm boring myself.

@Dorothy Parker,
In Windows, uninstalling applications is generally done by either going to start > programs > (program name) > uninstall (program name) OR by going to start > control panel > add/remove programs. The control panel may be in start > settings depending on your windows version.

I recommend downloading firefox at www.mozilla.com/firefox, going to youtube, then clicking on where the video should be, etc, and letting it walk you through the process. This type of thing should 'just work' if you let the program do its thing.

@Shirakawasuna,
Whoops, I missed the second page, sorry for repeating the stuff about adding/removing programs.

You may find it easier to use firefox to install and use flash, which is why I'm recommending it. And yes, with windows restarting your computer is often a way to fix things, sadly...
