IX + VI =XI

How can it equal out but changing just one line?

I'm not sure what you mean by one line, but if you add a line to the last I, you'll make it :

IX+VI= XV
9 + 6= 15

X = Ten
V = Five

IX (X - I)9 + VI (V=I) (6) = XV (15) Your equation is wrong.
