Cool cjhsa! I guess the reason the thing is worth so much is it is from the 1833 Collectible thingy. I'm gonna see what they say!

Ok don't know what to think about this but it just doesn't sound right to me. I have talked to a few other people and they say it (the1956 D28) is worth anywhere from $25,000 to $50,000 depending on the condition of the guitar.

Yes ma'am it is. Now I don't know if there are 1956 D28 guitars that are not the 1833 collectibles. If there are then maybe that's why he gave that estimate. I emailed him again and asked about them being 1833 Collectibles. Will let you know what he says.

On a side note I can tell you that while the folks on the Nuge board are very knowledgeable about things like guitars, they tend to be Michigan-centric. Michigan, having been in recession for so long, doesn't understand the value of things.... that's why I can't sell my house... To be honest, it's getting bad. Foks here are stupid, and proud of it.

A person from my current city had written a nasty comment about Marion Jones - even making a note to the dollar about her quarter million dollar house in Texas as if it was some sort of big deal. ****, I live in Michigan and my house cost more than that... why I can't sell it....
