Hello can anyone offer me any help with the last couple of words in this crossword?
30d - Telling Grant, I ran off - 9 letters - looks like ?a?r???n?
36d - reckoned I let lad go astray - 7 letters - looks like t?l???d
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in anticipation,

36d = tallied
