You asked, Sir, as to how many of us were here. Officially, some 3500 +/- registered members. Some of us are much more constant than others.

Devour, digest, and refer often to "Forum Help". No better way to avoid reinventing the wheel, so to speak.

How does one go about reading a tenth of what's provided here?

Read every tenth post. Skip the flippant ones.

(Serious answer: i check "your posts" to keep up with what i'm already involved in - thats usually more than enough. Every once in a while I check categores I'm interested in (e.g., International News). When I'm bored I check "view posts since last visit", or look up the most recent posts of posters I admire (just click on their name and follow directions). Very rarely indeed, I'm ina a helpful enough mood to check "View unanswered posts".)

Thanks!
Well, between all the inside jokes everybody has been throwing about, most of you have been very helpful!

Thank you very much.

By the way, does anybody recognize where my name is from?

(I guess a google search would solve that pretty quickly, but I'm still curious)

Indeed. I was just curious if anybody knew about Exile before searching for it.

I've been out of power for the last two days.

He's the noblestest of dragons evar!!!

If you really are more curious, visit www.spidweb.com and download Avernum 1.

I lost electrical power. A transformer behind my house exploded. It made a pretty red light, and luckily didn't catch anything besides itself on fire.

Welcome Sir Motrax of Exile -- Please feel rested and refreshed!
Don't hesitate to share your research and opinions on any thread. Enjoy.

PS -- I guess you're already familiar with the symbols in use on A2K, but if anyone needs additional guidance I took a moment to document some of the secret codes. Especially the more obvious secret ones.

With this guide you will be firmly established in the inner sanctum of A2K, and able to conduct yourself with freedom and confidence, albeit with the harsh realities of true knowledge gained without citing references. See: Forum Doohickeys--What Are They?

Good luck!
