instead of a nap, I am brainstorming for landscaping ideas at the town house.

I think Ima try on for size a new idea when I go clean tonight.

a second story deck. access from the now window.

overlooking a small private garden. (no back parking)

tall fence along the alley and the side of my garage, wrought iron with spikes out front...

Seriously though, it sounds great. Won't wrought iron fencing be expensive - it is in England. How large is the garden?

the garden is maybe 25 x 30. off of the breezeway, behind the garage.

I am going to buy salvaged iron and weld my own fence on site...

I might even pick up some work doing it.

fleshing out my plans a little...

under the deck will be the hen house. with the exit to the North, and behind the house. (away from the garden)

sometimes I will let them into the garden to eat bugs...

no, but I've seen it.

and a ton of others. I have an idea of how mine will work.

it will be verra high tech with an automatic door opener, and feeders.

having power available will make things much simpler.

but Buford will hafta stay at the ranch.

I think Ima split the herd. have some townies and some country chickens...
