S gave me a shower curtain, some rugs, and a window curtain that a roommate had left behind. (as he left for Denver again) and I found some old lime and rust killer. big difference.
smoky would not recognize the place now...
gonna try and knock out the dishes today. almost done inside for now.
then I hafta finish the shop.
all that new open floor is dark. need some more shop lights...

I sent the canoe guy to wally. he's his kinda guy.
but now I have a kid serious about my prelude. as a unit instead of parts...

Just switched to a new laptop running Windows 8! Great - once the screen decides to stay still for a while and not keep jumping all over the place. Only been on it for a couple of hours, so still trying to get used to it!
but my dishes are all done. gonna clean out the cabinets tomorrow and lay down some dish towels so everything stays nice and clean.
it almost feels like a house. gonna try and bring gram out to see it this weekend if I can scrap enough to buy some gas...
and I got the new heavy blue curtains for my bedroom hung. now it is set up for day sleeping. or movie watching on hot afternoons...

got my prelude agreed to be sold. may hafta take the back half on weekly payments...
but he's a good kid and he's building a toy on a budget. I can relate to that.
and I will get paid to deliver it when he's done with paying it off.
so now I can contract to have the dumpster hauled off on Monday. if it stops raining so he can get at it...

Been shopping for the garden again. This time it's a stone Labrador Retriever puppy - he weighs almost as much as a real one! Cute though - he seems to fit in my 'stone corner' okay!
it's 86 bit feels 97 with the humididity. like working in soup...
and there is more thunder looming west of me.
the mosquitos sound like a squadron of fighter planes circling me as I work.
but the shop is getting cleaner. charging my aging dewalt battery so I can remove the plywood over the window. gonna make it a window agian soon. prolly tomorrow.
gonna hafta make a small load of scrap to take in before noon so I can have gas and chicken chow for the weekend...
Jake Peavy - 0f course he's not related - but still - well okay - it's a stretch.
