still kinda wonky, but I'm going to town anyways...

dint go downtown for big head todd tonight. still kinda wonky.

went over to mr vw's and welded on the dunebuggy frame, and then hit the fish joint for some real gumbo (I wasn't able to eat at cajunfest, everything was thickened with roux.)

hmmmmmmm.

I collected two eggs at noon when I fed the girls, and I got 7 tonight when I got home just ahead of the skunks (wuth straw for a mucking session tomorrow)

I have 8 ladies.

somebody laid a double.

that's how happy they are with the new digs...


Ima go see spendthrift Larry tomorrow and get me some more hens. and another rooster...

I have a regular market now for as many eggs as the girls can lay.

the rains seem to have disappeared.

since I already stink of iron and sweat, I think Ima open up the shop and fire up the jitterbug sander.

I think I might set up to shoot epoxy primer this weekend...

I gotta go work...

worked late. got all my plastic knocked down and ready for another coat of fill primer.

slept hard.

today I am gonna tackle things around the farm that have been nagging and bothering me for a while.

Just what you need, another 24/7 alarm clock.

I sleep a lot further from the chicken yard than I used to.

and my house is made of thicker aluminum...

can't get my chickens until dusk, Larry is unable to catch them. gotta wait until they come in to roost.

very windy with a decent shot for rain.

means I won't be painting tonight.

mebbe I'll try and fix a mower...

I'm home with my new chickens. and it's raining it's ass off...

Ida been home before the rain, but I stopped and did a good deed instead.

a little mexican guy with 3 kids and a beeg box (lawn mower) wanted I should give him a ride home from wally's. (I had stopped for chocolate almond milk)

he said he's pay for gas, and I said ok, 10 bucks. a reasonable fee for a 6 mile jaunt out of my way...

and then his wiferita came out with 2 more carts of groceries. and 3 more kids...

it all ended well. (good thing my truck has a back seat)

and I doubled my flock.

got 14 hens now.

and the world's ugliest rooster.

I swear he looks like a plucked turkey...

no tail and a bald head.
