bought a truck to resell. he finally dropped the price to a no-brainer level.
gotta bring a battery and gas to west nowhere on the other side of the lake. it may run out, it may not.
has no reverse at the moment for sure...
but I don't intend to back it up.
and I gotta go get silks to take gram on our annual cemetery roundup...
(they are all half off now)
but before I go, I gotta check on the guppies I installed in the pond last night, and the black (purple) moonflower that mr vw gifted me for my patient work with his kid...
done gardening for the day. got all the rest o' my seeds in but for the cactus.
watched some video about that. it's kinda involved. gonna happen on a rainy day when I can't do much else, methinks...
now I gotta dismember my truck for pieces to go make the new one mebbe drive home. my friend K is coming out to drive my car back following me.
this has the potential to make me really regret not just dragging the tow dolly out to boofoo and being done with it. but he lives out on the lake on a series of **** dirt roads. my dolly will appreciate being left out of it if possible...
at least I'm getting a visitor during daylight hours. I've not yet been able to show the pond to anyone other than mr vw's kid, and he really dint give a hoot.
(it just looks right to have fishes swimming under my bridge. verra peaceful and birds everywhere. lotsa cardinals this year)

I am so easily entertained. You said "boofoo" - totally "cracked" me up.

@JPB,
yes, from seed. and into a baggie for 3 to 5 months...
kinda getting into cacti as I ease into old age.
and my truck adventure was every bit as bumpy as I anticipated. just now got home to feed my chickens and clean up after the skunks. grrrrrr....
but I dint hafta tow it.
bought the truck after he searched for an hour to find the keys. (hope he comes up with the title with less trauma)
but the motor runs really strong. (it's new)
and transmission lost reverse and OD on the way home. this is why it was for sale, but it worked when I got there, causing a great deal of seller's remorse...
(I really really really think it's just low on fluid. we'll find out tomorrow)
K left for the city after chasing me home, and I got a bowl of leftover takeout gumbo in the micro (got an extry one yesterday and stuck it in the fridgimator)
and a bottle of wine to join miss missy in tippling...

been a while since I tossed on a good looking tag and ran through the dark.
if I decide to sell it (my truck is weak) I stand to make enough to pay for June.
got a guy looking for a truck in the $2500 price range. I can sell this at 2k and make a nice profit...

I got one egg.
they busted into the feed barrel (my 2 new chickens are firkin delinquents)
and betty laid hers inside on the corn...
hoping the adrenaline buzz wears off soon, I got lots to do tomorrow, weather permitting.
we are under a storm watch all through the holiday.
