@vonny,
I had to come back in and get a shirt with no sleeves.

warm today.

and gorgeous.

my place may never look better than it will this summer...

the drive is lined with iris all the way to the road, and all the lilacs are healthy and blooming this year.

trying to decide where to put my elephant ears this year. I dug them and stored them at mr vw's for the winter.

gonna be huge this time around...

(and both of the lotuses are showing growth...)

@Rockhead,
We STILL have a heater in the bedroom! A few brave plants are struggling to show their faces in the garden, but so far there have been very few signs of spring, never mind summer! We're getting to the stage where we only have two seasons in the UK - summer and winter - and if it's anything like last year, well, suffice it to say we skipped summer!

went to wally's for soil and some minor details for tomorrow. (morning glory seeds)

stopped by mr vw's to get some fishes to put in the pond. (white clouds)

gotta do something to curb the skeeter population explosion until guppy season, we do...

'bout to go release them from their baggie now.

tomorrow I will finish up my garden chores, and then dive into the shop.

lotsa car work to be done this month...

@Rockhead,
I've got Morning Glory in my garden. It's a tough little bugger, you have to make sure it doesn't take over.

@izzythepush,
my environment here is a little more harsh than most.

bamboo is the only plant that I have trouble keeping where I put it...

(and I am sinking steel plates in the ground to box it in)

my little peach tree is doing so well, I think Ima get another one...

I have decided that we aren't gonna need the stove in the shop any more this year.

gonna switch gears and start working my shifts in the shop instead of the garden.

mostly...

gotta go find caveman gourd seeds yet.

my collection of dragonflies and other odds and ends that spark memories and emotions has started to add a distinct personality to the pond garden. for better or worse...

(and I found some cheap calla lily bulbs that will hafta have a nice spot near my purple pineapple lily)

got interrupted on my errand run.

mr vw's foster son decided to take a road trip. on bad tires with no spare. (chasing tail he was)

he called and asked me if I could go hit the salvage and buy him a mini spare and then deliver it to north nowhere...

anyways, got that done, and got chicken food. and 5 different kinds of gourds.

planted the cave man's club, swan, and birdhouse hills.

still got 2 more to find spots for.

gonna be coolio.

and I planted a baby ash tree, and a red flowering quince bush that D gave me when she dug hers to spread it into a hedge.

she dint know what it was, and got all excited when I told her she could move it and make it grow...

tard.

gotta work C2 tomorrow afternoon.

machine quilters expo or some such shtuff...

been thinking a lot about what's going on here at the farm.

this is either gonna be a huge success, or a massive failure.

I'm way past the point of moderation.

I live in a beatiful oasis of nature. and I don't wanna give it up...

gonna be a really long 2 months...
