what a crappo day...

got conned into helping drag an old hot water heater outta louie's basement.

I told him no, and then he called and said it was all ready to just load.

not.

and now my back is spasming.

and at 9am tomorrow I am s'posed to load 50 pound bricks on the arbors 85 feet aloft...

at least it was comforting to be able to pull the bonneville outta the shop, and run the truck inside to fix the trailer plug wiring.

not used to that.

almost shoplike...

@vonny,
hell will be something like what this morning was...

now I gotta switch into the truck and dolly and go pick up a dead escort from spangles right in the center of town. in the rain...

@Rockhead,
I had to read that line a couple of times. I thought you were talking about a "somebody" escort instead of a car Escort.

Scared me.

@mismi,
I didn't check the dumpster.

(it was in the area of town that "somebody for hire" escorts have been known to be found, both dead and alive)

we were incident free.

and it's kinda cool to have all my lights and safety measures fully functional.

a tow truck charges $175 to bring me a car from town.

I charge a lot less than that...

gonna go feed chickens and unload dry wood for tomorrow, then I'm toast...

@Rockhead,
How far are you from town? We have to have the toe truck quite often. But we aren't that far in the country - even though we don't live in the city.

I am glad you have all your lights and safety measures fully functional.

Glad you didn't check the dumpster. Don't want you picking up that kind of dead escort. Please and thank you.

a heavy cold rain has started.

but I got all my chores done first. even got a fire all ready and set for the match in the stove. (for tomorrow)

and I called the owner of the escort to make sure that she wants to dive another $300+ deeper into a turdpile. she does...

@mismi,
it depends on where they decide to leave the city limits from...

I'm roughly 20 miles from the edge of town.

@mismi,
Oh - Gbaby's team got beat - listen to this....

35 - 16

heinous. Most assinine plate ump ever. He has the smallest strike zone I have ever seen for 9 year old kids. AND - ANNNNNND the other coach was - well - I can't go into it. It was the most pitiful display of the wrong kind of competition I have ever seen. And I was mad. A dad from the other team protested when a kid from his team got a third out (it was 35-14 at the time) and I lost it. I was keeping the books - again - but managed to say loudly that I hoped he was kidding. Very Happy He came up to me afterwards and said he was not trying to run up the score afterwards. I asked him if he had looked at the scoreboard at all the entire game. I asked him if it was beyond his ability to allow one wrong out (it wasn't though) to end the sound beating they were giving us. I told him his team was amazing. Truly the best team I had seen all season and I hoped that they get what they deserve. It's one thing to give a sound whupping to a team...it's another thing to humiliate and to keep bunting and have your kids play off to cause the already flustered kids to overthrow the ball.

Makes me want to puke just telling you about it.

But guess what I get to do now. I have had great guilt from my verbal diarhea. I will have to tell him I am sorry next time I see him. Hopefully that will cure my rampant spew issues.

@mismi,
you dint tell him "bless his heart" did ya?

(I know what that really means)

35-16 is ok if you're wearing shoulder pads.

seems his pitchers were kinda givin' it up, too...
