cold and rainy.

think Ima go light the stove in the shop...

We've had snow flurries here today! So hard to believe we are well into spring and that British Summer Time had officially begun. I don't know where you are, but it sounds pretty cold - power cuts sound bad. Do you get many?

only when I can't pay the bill...

got 2 20 amp circuits freed up from my former residence, and set to use for power outlets in the shop.

mebbe tomorrow I can wire the internet into the shop as well.

finishing up my doorway and stub wall in the tool room.

it's starting to feel like a place of business...

decided I needed another gallon of kilz.

so I went to Wally's at 11 at night. and got some food too, so I dint look like a weirdo...



looks like another all night painting gig...

it has started to snow.

I could hear the sound change on the tin roof of the shop.

which reminded me that I had to take the trash out to the road.

so now I am covered in snow. and hounded by starving cats...

I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen Hawkwind, including x amount of times at Newcastle City Hall.

I'm too far behind to stop.

and sometimes my body demands a rest, usually when I can least afford it.

ran errands today, this was one of those wonky kinda days that used to put me under. and I got stuff done in spite of it.

got gram groceried up. and got a piece to order to keep mr vw outta hot water. (he broke an alarm fob)

brought some takeout gumbo home. gonna snack on it while the fire gets going in the shop.

not gonna work all night, but needa get stuff cleaned up and ready to change out an intake manifold gasket tomorrow on an Escort.

and fix the wipers...



(anybody else think the intro to this song got swiped by great white???)

got the vert sitting in the paint booth, and plenty o room for escort surgery tomorrow.

gonna go bed early tonight I guess...
