I'll be back (again quoting the smoker)

My dear, you've not posted any songs to get a feel from. I know the city, just not the artist.

Another huge influence on me as a kid -- the first big city I ever visited.

My views on what to do re NO are different than most, and you and I could have a goodly spat about that, JPB.... however, I get the fixing and have some links on new stuff on that, once I get my architectural self in gear re posting various items.

First song of Harry's I really liked. Turned on to him by a teacher in 7th grade.

Truth is, I'm an LA girl...
the Troubadour, the Lighthouse, venues in Hollywood, with jazz more than rock, like wherever I saw Doc Watson, in west Hollywood, I think.

I did like Janis, and a friend did know her, though, of course, so what.
I was never part of a scene.

I just react, say, when I see fifties or sixties threads. Like it was all one fast year. Not that this thread is, I'm just beefing generally.

As for my music, I'll post it when I feel like it.
Does that mean I don't get to respond?

And besides, InfraBlue, has anyone pushed that you should join us at the Albuquerque meet in May? I surely do...

Well thanks for the invite, osso. I've been considering joining you all. We'll see.

People say Albuquerque is similar to El Paso. I've never been, though. When I go to New Mexico it's usually to Ruidoso, Cloudcroft and the Lincoln National Forest.

Infrablue, I'd definitely like to meet you.

I hope you can make it up here that week, and if not, I'd like to meet you another time. Better, though, to meet a whole batch of us idiots...

Hey, when I was four and five, my father was, off and on, in Roswell. (I could speak to all that, not now.) Maybe even I was , as I kept hearing about some horrible train trip for my mother with, aaack, me. Maybe, in fact, I caused whatever is supposed to have happened in Roswell.

(Infra, please consider meeting us.)
