This will be a huge surprise to everyone, I'm sure.
My first trips to New Orleans were business oriented and not all that much fun. Mr B and I went for fun in May '05 -- a few months before Katrina. We were hooked and then subsequently emotionally devastated by the destruction we saw post Katrina. We've made numerous trips down since the storm, doing whatever we can do to help, but mostly simply loving the place and her people.
