Metallica's pretty heavy. Here are 3 essential Metallica songs ...

The Unforgiven

Where The Wild Roses Grow -- Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue.

OK, that was the soundtrack to a bad romance novel.

Are you sleepy, or got someone on your musical shoulder.

(No Abba either)

More dark meat, Jack

I seriously don't get Metallica so far, not to mention the Roses Grow thing.

I may need explication.

In the video/song, the character played by Nick Cave, is entranced by the beauty of Eliza Day, played by Kylie Minogue, and he courts her with a rose, and because he doesn't want her beauty to fade, he ultimately kills her.

The song was inspired by the John Everett Millais painting, Ophelia:

Yer kidding, right?

I realize I'm reactionary, but I see junk music and posturing and shut it off.

Tell me why this is interesting -

besides that if you have to tell me.... I just don't know.

I might get it. I have biases, but have surmounted such before.

I have to separate my take on the sound from the videos which annoy me.
Given that I don't like underlying tracks, although possibly sometime, I'll pick #1.

Even I am tiring out. That was sardonic about Metallica, sounds quite lite to me. Be back to catch up and annoy others tomorrow.
