When we go on the big A2K shopping spree, it'll be to Baskets, Textiles and Boxes 'R' Us.

I have an attraction to dryer lint, cat hair and grease spots on my shirts, and I really wish I didn't.

Can anyone help me?

You know what I like?

Stationary stores.

All that clean pristine paper.

thinking about it right now, I think it's about all that unleased potential.

Agreed.

I don't like stores that move about unleashed

Altho' renting one side of paper can bring one to tears

I've always enjoyed looking at vacant apartments. I gladly volunteered to go with friends who were apartment hunting. Loved to see the variations on a limited amount of space. Loved checking out all manner of things--closets, wall space, air movement, etc.

I'm interested, but less so, in how things are fixed up once someone has moved in.

BTW, I have an elephant collection, but I don't know if that qualifies as weird. Seems normal to me.

Some find my attraction to lotion weird. Some women collect shoes, I do it with lotions.

Fabrics are nice. Glass is nice. Stationary stores are FUN. Love them.

But more than all that, I have WAY more blankets than any person could ever use.

So as far as the home, it's blankets and sculptures. Sculptures, carvings, there is just something about them.

I have a special fondness for human forms. Dancers. Lovers. Children. Those in movement. Nudes.

Stone, bone, wood seem to be the ones that appeal to me the most.

Anyone got an great ones to show me pics of?

Signs. Old, enameled, imperfect, handpainted, strange wording.
Signs with Personality.
I like finding them, cheap or free. (Like in old buildings)
I like when they mean something to me, like where I was, who I was with.

Here's one I couldn't have. It was on a location, someone would have noticed it missing. And it was large.

not a stoner
Rock, stone, and brick masonry. Old architecture. Hand laid, brick by brick, or stone by stone.
Anything. Igneous, metamorphic, or sedimentary.

Get thee behind me, vile temptress.

A friend gave me a $25 off any $50 purchase at Staples--it was like stuffing my own Christmas stocking.
