As some will be aware, It is currently very very hot in OZ.

Stripping down can provide some relief from the heat.

So... have you ever posted nude?

You'd have to be crazy to post clothed in this heat!

I suspect all Oz A2Kers have been posting naked! Very Happy

Sympathetic to the heat. Hate the heat. Poor down-under babies.

Doesn't anybody have AIR-CONDITIONING?

Yes.....but in this heat it can't get things below about 83 F......at least not in the full heat.

Apparently it's still over 100F here, and it's 11.20 pm.

Edit: Bad info...it's way cooler outside.....25.3 C, which is about 77F!!!!

Only 33C tomorrow....that's about 92 F.

Airconditioning is a primary cause of global warming.

It should be banned.

Hello, Roberta! Very Happy

Ms Poppy (like all cats) is pretty smart about these things. She'll find the coolest spot (preferably outside) & hang out there until the worst is over. I knew it must have gotten pretty excruciating outside today when she actually came inside & plonked herself inside with me & the air conditioner. She's not at all keen on air conditioning!

Olga, Does she shy away from water? When it was hot here in the Big Apple (times when we call it the Baked Apple), Miranda used to like to be dowsed with water. Patty hated it. Mikey was indifferent.

She's not keen on the water treatment, Roberta, even when it would be very wise to allow it. Stubborn little thing isn't she?

She's a cat. Stubbornness is part of her job description. Just a thought about the water.

Years ago, a girlfriend and I (on a dare) drove my leather seated sports car through a medium sized city. York Pa. NEKKID. It was hot, we were a bit stoed and, as I recall, we both stuck to the seats and had some seat burns.

We spent a lot of time later rubbing lotion on each other

Thanks anyway, Roberta. It wasn't ever a problem with most of the other cats I've lived with. But this one is another matter!
