I think the cuts are similar. If you get #1, you can also put hair behind your ear as the lady in #2 does, Or vice versa... with #2, you can flip the hair tucked behind ear out in front of it.

Actually Gala, I Do have sideburns. Not Elvis sideburns or anything, but hair does grow out of my skin as low as the bottom of my ear hole....

In fact, when my hairs down I do wear it growing over my ears and sideburn area.
