MP3 Player and Windows 11 Help requested

Hi ya'll.

I received a Sansa View for Christmas (yay!) and am having some difficulty synchronizing (boo!).

I've got the device connected and can see that it is charging, but for some reason it isn't being read by Windows Media or showing up in 'My Computer' as a portable device. I've got a synch list set up, but it's just not transferring.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
