will they last? they were born on thanksgiving day, at first they were like silica blue really intense now they are grey/blue still pretty though. i just hope they dont go totally away.
Helfino but I'd love to see more pics (hint, hint).
I Googled. Blue eyes seem to be verboten in show dogs, but show standards are arbitrary (and not always in the best interests of the breed).
My sister had a Siberian Husky with one blue eye and one brown eye and it was not considered a fault for AKC standards.
I know with cats, if they are born with blue eyes, they most likely will change, but I don't know about dogs.
Got my cat as a kitten at the shelter (had blue eyes) and they told me her eyes wouldn't stay blue, but they did and what a beautiful, blue eyed cat she is :-D
Hope they stay blue for you :-D
I called my sister and asked her about dogs & eye color. She knows a lot about dogs. Her response was "I am busy and I think it depends on the breed" click
On the AKC site you can choose a breed & it lists their standards. I thought it was interesting. It looks like depending on the breed on what color eyes they should have.

OG's not planning on showing the doggies, is he?
So, blue eyes doesn't make a difference except they are cool.
Ah, can we get more pictures, pleeeeeease?
