I went into a computer store yesterday to try to find a whatsit to connect the new one, and they said:


1. No such whatsit exuisted.

2. What's on the end of my new keyboard can't be a usb plug. They have no idea what it is.


So...into the shop I bought it from tomorrow...with the new mouse along as well, which has a usb plug that DOES go into my usb ports. I can show them what doesn't fit and what does.

TTH, listen up girlfriend, I've got something to tell ya! A lot of us know you screwed up where Craven is concerned and plenty of people here voiced that to you, just as they would have if it were anyone else, including me, and I think most of them like me, for the most part.

I'm an odd ball myself and I've been sorry more than once on this forum, for saying something I shouldn't have and my friends here won't hesitate to tell me if they feel I'm out of line. Some people feel very strongly about some things and they will let you know what they are, no matter who you are.

People have said some things to offend me over the years and I planned on leaving more than once because of it, but then I remembered the countless of wonderful people I'd be leaving behind and changed my mind. Now when I get upset about anything that happens here, I just take a breather for a bit and come back when I'm ready.

I've gotten to know the veteran members here through the years and learned from experience that even if they get mad at you, they're not destined to hating you for life. They really are forgiving if they know someone takes responsability for their actions and are sincere.

I'm asking you to reconsider your choice in leaving because I'll miss you. Other than the Craven stuff, I truly enjoy your posts (I see others do as well) and I, for one, would miss seeing you around.

Some time has passed and I can already see some people have opened the door for forgiveness, so I see that as a positive step in the right direction for you. You found out the hard way how much we all support Craven and watch his back, so now that you know this, I think you can start all over again (if you want) and all will eventually blow over.

Anyway, I hope you change your mind and decide to stay TTH!

It was a throwaway word from me, who throws away words, on a thread not long past, perhaps unwisely used by me at the time. Whatever. Then picked up and used in other threads, and most recently used in invective back to me. I kind of appreciate the circle.

I think of it as an amalgam of whoopdedoo and f***, used fairly lightly.
