Exactly what difficult & tough jobs are they doing, spendius?

Could you fill us in on the details?

Aw, Dorothy!

Your thread is doing something quite different to what you'd intended!

It's my fault.
I'm sorry. Sad

Please tell us more about this event. Sounds like it's something that means a lot to you.

Why is there no sneer emoticon when I need one, bear?

Nah, it's just something to do with royalty, outrageous privilege & all that. Pushes my buttons every time! Rolling Eyes

But Dorothy really wanted to talk about something else altogether. I'm not a Prince fan, but I know lots of people who are. They think he's fantastic.

Bringing "the royals" into this wasn't particularly useful to the purpose of this thread & I should have realized ...

And I like Dorothy a lot & ...... Sad

She hates men you know. She coughed. Prince excepted of course but he's not like the blokes around her. He's a titch. Half-pint sized. And his lyrics are easy on the grey matter.

How is "outrageous privilege" defined?

Well- I wouldn't do it. It must be gruelling. Goldfish bowl stuff. Having to watch every single thing you do. Everybody dancing around you--all the time. Can't even go in a pub without your presence completely altering the whole scene. People staring. Girlfriends ringing up The Sun. Horrible. If ever the expression "get a life" applied to anybody it applies to those poor lads.

Never heard sight or sound of anything of the kind. You should be more careful what you read and you should be more careful what you say as well because some might think you are obsessed with such things enough to search out the one in a blue moon.

I have a theory that when people express anger or any interest in sexual perversion they have a closet prediliction in that direction. They like talking about it.

Don't worry msolga I'm not bothered as long as people don't start discussing sport!

Laughing

Oh and by the way, I'm with you on the "Royal" issue.

(Spendius always likes to have his say about Prince too which I quite like, even though he always slags him off.)

Got my tickets in the post today! I'm SO excited already.

Barrythemod, sorry didn't get back to you sooner - been at work. I would like to take you up on the offer of a place to kip though if the offer still stands. I'll pm you.

Yep 50. It does sound quite old don't it?

Confused

What makes me feel even older is when girls at college don't even know who he is when I mention him.

Sad
