your eyes are like a blue glossy sea,
i want to swim in them, tasting their sweet bitter gaze,
discouvering the unknowns as i go like a small one entering into a darkened room,
afraid of what may be lurking within the shadows.
you hide in your shell like a turtle within its own.
i see the real you peek from within your mask of happiness
the dull blazing light warms my senses
i try to touch
i try to taste the fleeting moment.
Slam!
you shut the door to your mysterious eyes, like a mousetrap being triggered off.
you hide once again behind the smiles and fake happiness
you are like the small one within the dark room,
too afraid to step into the welcoming light.
your eyes want to open, invite me into your soul,
but you are afraid that my touch will hurt you like a hand within a flame.
hastily, hurriedly, hiding,
your eyes are slowly dying like a faint candlelight being smothered.
creeeeeeeeak...
their door hinges are rusty from not being well oiled, well used.
the sound, it pains my ears.
I smell the sweet smelling liquid falling from your eyes,
dripping like a leaking faucet.
you are like an emotional time bomb,
like a threatening valcono, your emotions are ready to burst from their cage.
Other's try to break your security blanket, but like a trapped animal you attack them.
your eyes are now like a barren wasteland covered in snow.
in the core of your eyes is your soul, your spirit
it yearns to fly like an eagle,
to be free of pain and fear,
fear of being yourself, showing how you feel.
the pain and loss in your eyes is like a open wound never fully healing,
the words from the sword pour salt upon it, never allowing it to close.
the sword, the tongue,
it leaves deep gashes upon the heart.
your eyes reflect this abuse like a mirror.
tears fall as your eyes close.
I look silently on as i taste tears upon my lips.
from above an eagle soars through the clou
Superlative.
Only you could change it.
