Hi Dutchy
Thank you for those answers.
I had 29d as ADMONISNMENT (N instead of H).
I love your windmill moving.
Did you ever know anyone who lived in Dutch New Guinea?
Regards
Tigiie
Hi Tigiie
I know some guys that were stationed there as part of their National Service before Soekarno days.
Dutchy
Hi Dutchy
I remember those days as I was born in Port Moresby, PNG,
(it used to be PTNG - the T for Territory of Australia).
I remember that I was at school and the nun that taught me
at that time, told us how the Indonesians took over Dutch
New Guinea. You can see what they did in Timor also.
There are sometimes, wonderful documentaries on Dutch NG
and how they had the flying planes and brought people out in
the WW11.
The Indonesians are still killing PNG people on the border, we
just don't get to hear much of it as it is supressed. To the PNG
people, they don't have borders and their land is everything to
them.
Anyway, thanks for all of the help you give me and everyone
else with our wonderful Lovatt books, I would be lost without
them.
Warmest regards
Tigiie
I, myself, came (on leave) to Australia in a flying plane when
I was a baby and it took 3 days and many stops to reach Sydney
(I don't remember a thing).
