The "Newscripts" section of the November 5 issue of Chemical & Engineering News described a report issued by some young British scientists to combat some pseudoscience. The scientists took note of some unlikely "scientific-sounding" claims in advertisements, then called the sponsoring companies' representatives to challenge the claims.
The report is available free online and makes for some fun reading.
