Well, that's no buffer, as osso is oft the fool...

I took it as both, semi- complaining and being proactive.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion that my sense of humour may be out of kilter with many of you .... I think I'll refrain from trying to be funny for a bit! Embarrassed

Yeah, this was meant to be humorous, while acknowledging, at the same time, that some people actually never do get a mention. In a way that I'd hoped would give them a bit of a laugh & see the funny side of these situations, just in case ......

Is that such a bad thing?

No! It's a great thread and thank you for that - I've resorted to humour on both of them. I even posted some rabbit pooh (for you know know) on the other one, so there you go.

I thought this was grand and very funny Laughing

Thanks, Mame!

<Phew!>

And thank you for that big container of squirty stuff! That will come in so handy!

But ..

.. but I know you only sent it to me because you felt sorry for me, not because you'd REALLY intended to, before ..!

Hey, I like you msolga. Youre one of the few who patiently accepts guys like me who like to rant on about supporting the Sea Shepherds without being piled on by PC 'ers.

You shall have mytraditional Festivus cross latitudinal/ (((((hug)))) from one tectonic plate to another.

I think we like being loners on these boards, so theres more of us than "them"

I consider that a great compliment, farmer! Very Happy

(But, hey, you know I'm just as "favourably disposed" toward the aims of Sea Shepherd as you! Laughing )

Let's hear it for the little people, the under-dogs, the loners!
Yay! More power to us! Very Happy

I gave many gifts on that thread, Msolga. Never got one back. That's ok. It is better to give than receive. It is better to be a humble giver than a greedy receiver.

Could well be an Oz thing, Deb.

I'm glad someone got me!

Some folk from other spots on the planet seem to take everything very literally!

Besides, they can't see my face - including my tongue in my cheek! - as I type such waffle!

Now I feel somewhat embarrassed that all these people think I actually started a thread to whinge about my lack of presents!!!!

No, hang on a minute. That's actually very funny! Laughing
