A few years back I was trying to look up some early pictures of Elton John from his flaming glam days. A friend of mine had no idea of this period in his life, and I was trying to turn her on to some pics. I couldn't find any at all. I haven't tried looking since, but I immediately got the impression that he was controlling the availability of his media on the internet.

I just mentioned this topic a few nights ago in a pm...about Prince removing all his videos from youtube...but not before I snagged a few...heh.
I wish he had some master box set in the plans...cds, dvds...everything...but I kinda doubt that is the reason for his current legal attempts...squashing the free stuff so he can sell them himself at some point...but I can hope.
