hi i've never asked for help before, but got lots of answers to puzzles from you ,thanx.I'd like to ask for help,in novembers big crossword, i have got a problem with the demon,112 down flock of swimming birds, the only letters i have is r..t i would be very grateful for help. thanx

Many thanx,tried that answer in dictionary but no mention of that connection.
I think the answer is "raft" I found it in a list of collective nouns, to describe a group of ducks idle in water.
