Nance is testifying in front of Congress right now, and naturally; everything that he is saying is the opposite of what McG has claimed.

Can waterboarding kill? Oh, yes.

Can it cause brain damage? Certainly.

Can it cause lung damage? Yes.

Is the information gained considered reliable? Nope.

Why should that be the question?

Breaking kneecaps doesn't kill; you cool with that?

Besides, you think they would get up and say 'yeah, we've killed several detainees this way, so solly cholly!' Pointless questions.

There just won't be any "detainees" any longer.

I'm cool with that.

As I said earlier, they should have just shot and killed them rather than detain them.

It's nice to know that you guys feel that,

Unless we are allowed to torture, the only other alternative is murder.

Your true colors are showing through fellas.

Wrong again.

I do not believe in torture. All I'm suggesting is have no detainees. Kill all the enemy.

You want war....there it is. If you can not handle death, don't go to war.

I prefer not to go to war, but if I must, kill them all.

Many of the detainees weren't captured on the battlefield.

When you take a prisoner, and shoot him in the head, it's murder. Period.

No need to do that. Just stick 'em in the general prison population.

How would you know? You never been in a war. You've never served. You've never travelled to a war zone.

The closed you've come to war is having seen it on TV.

People who've actually been to a war don't think so. People who've actually witnessed waterboarding doon't think so. People who've actually been waterboarded don't think so.

It seems that only people like you or maybe Ted Nugent who do their macho thing with their guns while never actually having seen war or torture seem to go on and on, chanting "Torture them! Kill them! All's fair!"

I'm glad that the US-troops didn't follow your advice and only mock shot him after taking POW. But he was a non-combattant army surgeon - that might have been an excuse for their failure.
(But what about the other 25% of my family who weren't killed?)

Maybe, just maybe if everyone felt as I do, politicians would think 3 times before going to war.

"There just won't be any "detainees" any longer". So what that very many detainees were innocent, tortured and released.

Actually, I believe that's one of the reasons why some countries were more opposed to the rush to war than others.

And depending on for whom you feel being closer: either you wouldn't live or white's only came as tourists to your country.

Well maybe because of my personal experience in the military as well as my heritage, I can be the best one to make such a statement, Walter.

I don't blame you white people today for the sins of your fathers and what your "race" did to my ancestors.

I do not see how you can understand that.

That's a two way street. If all really is fair in war then there is no such thing as terrorism, no such thing as terrorists, and nobody for us to waterboard.
