14d Showed up overseas seeking bit parts(6) ? A ? E ? ?

I think it is CAMEOS! Is that right?

25A Is he out of nick for a runner?(7) ? ? ? A ? E ?

The last letter of 14d is the second letter of 25a.

I'm sure as usual there is someone out there who can help Smile

Hi Saphi

Suggest both words 'cameos' and 'escapee' are correct.

cameo = a bit part or brief appearance by a distinguished actor in a film.

escapee = from running away (escape) - (runner) from nick (prison)
