I have recently purchased a chinchilla and its pooping a lot. Is that normal since it is in a new home? Also some of the poop pelotas are sticking to her fur and i can not get them off. Is this also normal and what should i do? Any suggestions?

Won't she handle that herself?

We had chinchillas briefly when I was younger - they do poop a lot. I agree with eoe that she'll take care of the cling-ons herself.

About the only thing you need to do for chinchillas to help them keep clean and their fur looking nice is to give them their dust baths. Do you have dust for her?
