This year I purchased my favorite Blue Lake Pole Bean seeds from a seed company called Lake Valley Seed. This is the brand that my local Summerwind's Nursery carries in the large size, which I prefer because I have a large garden.

Anway, half of these beans turned out to not be Blue Lake at all, instead of being round, they are flat. About 2/3 of them are also stringy, yet they are supposed to be stringless. My son choked on one and is now refusing to eat them.

Anyone else ever have bad results from this seed company? Is there another that you recommend? I have used Seeds of Change in the past, and am thinking of going back with them. The only drawback to SoC is that you have to order your seed in the early spring.
