Man Arrested Twice In 1 Night On DUI Charges

WYE MILLS, Md. -- State police said that a Queenstown man wasted no time getting his second driving under the influence arrest. He was stopped for the second time minutes after he was booked for his first.
According to police, Patrick McDonald, 41, was stopped for traveling 85 mph in a 55 mph zone late Wednesday night on Route 50 near Wye Mills.
Police said he failed field sobriety tests and his blood alcohol level was measured at headquarters at .08.
Police said McDonald was released to a sober driver at 2:10 a.m., and was found behind the wheel of a speeding car 15 minutes later.
McDonald was charged with a second DUI and driving within 12 hours of a DUI arrest.
