SHOCKING HEATH RUMOUR is an anagram of the real full name and the pen name of a popular British writer. What allegedly were his last words, just before he was killed?

An easy one. There are not that many popular English writers with pen names and well known "famous last words". In fact, the only one I can think of is Saki. That is the pen name of Hector Hugh Munro (1870-1916), whose alleged last words were "Put that damned cigarette out!" He was shot by a German sniper while sheltering in a shell crater near Beaumont-Hamel.
