What is this, the third or the fourth time they've tried this? I don't care if they aren't the cool kids anymore, I still want to go. The boys are back!

Well, I'd rather see Sammy playing with them now, that's for sure.
DLR is but a sad caricature of his former self. It's too depressing to watch him still try to be Diamond Dave.
It just ain't happenin'.

It seems that so far I'm the lone vote that Dave will somehow piss off Eddie and screw up yet another reunion.

Laughing Laughing

I'd rather see David Lee Roths bald bloted corpse propped up on stage with Van Halen then see Sammy Hager.

Who the F$#K is Sammy Hagger anyways. Without David Lee Roth their is no Van Halen

well said and God Bless. The first concert my baby cub ever went to was sam and Dave tour. At 13, Seth discerned that Sammy, although a great bar band guy, was **** compared to diamond Dave.

I don't know. If you ask me Sammy Hagger just plain blows.

It seemed like Van Halen just picked this guy out of conveneince because he would show up sober and would keep the paychecks coming in. They chopped their balls off when they hired that guy. That was it. There was plenty of talent to pick from at the time and they picked this guy.

It was a low point for Rock and Roll History

Say what you will, but I wouldn't pay to see DLR do anything anymore. He's a has-been. We'll probably see him show up on The Surreal Life like Vince Neil, or some other lame show like Brett Michaels.
But Dave will never die....he'll just keep trying to make a comeback even though he looks and sounds like the crypt keeper.
