Craven? Crypto-zoology indeed - Craven is a shapeshifter, like his blinking avatar - one minute a sweetly playful otter cub, next a wolverine, next a naughty monkey - then a businesslike beaver - changing, sometimes, so fast, that the lion's striking clawed paw occupies one foreleg, and the kitten's soft pad the other!

Well, that sounds like a nice description of a duck... and I am somebody's mother.

I guess I'll have to look up a pangolin since nobody will 'splain it to me.

Well... it is a little too pink around the gills for me and the eye... it's weird. Maybe there's something wrong with it?

I'm not familiar with digressive animals. Is that like a stray cat?

It might be...or it might not...or it might be, sometimes, and sometimes not. It might be on Thursdays and Sundays, and something quite different at teatime.

It might blow bubbles - or blow them up.

It is hard to tell with digressive animals.

I don't think they HAVE gills, Piffka!

Hi Mikey. As a fisherman, wouldn't you say that Pangolin practically has gills?

But... bunyips? Good find. I've never heard of these before... and there were supposed to be 2 kinds of 'em. Kind of ugly, really. The rest of the dreamtime animals must be equally weird.

I thought the pangolin was sort of cute but a wee bit sly with the eye. Nifty coat he or she has on.
