My AC died last night - 86 in the house

The new AC will not be installed until next week.
It will be over 100 again today ...

Yikes! I'd check into a cheap hotel for at least a part of that time.

NO NO NO...can't live in a house wihtout aircondition when it is THAT hot! Miserable. Take care of yourself please H2O-Man. People dropping like flies from heat exhaustion.

Good news, the temp in my house is down to 80 and falling.

A blown capacitor was replaced and freon added - the all
new high efficiency heat pump will be installed next week.
