Boom,
Put them in storage until you have the time to devote to research. They sound like gems.

You're right! I've spent almost the whole day looking things up. Some things were only worth a couple of bucks but I'm amazed at what some of these punk albums are worth.
Of any possible genre, it'd make sense that it's hardest to find punk albums that are in good condition!!
That's a good point!
I'm thinking that a lot of them were just very small releases. The big punk names albums aren't worth very much.
Between classes, I used to kill time at Rose Records in Chicago. The third floor was their bargain basement where all the unpopular records ended up. They were cheap enough that I could buy them just for looking interesting. Some of them are downright terrible. I'm glad I hung onto them!

Best advice I have seen.
boomerang,
Just keep in mind what those sellers on e-bay show as "buy it now price" is usually over-priced imo.
You would have to see the completed listings to know what similar items truly sold for.
I don't typically do eBay for anything and I tried to avoid it here if I could find the item listed elsewhere.
I found most of my albums were in the $5 -$10 range on most websites with the few listed here being worth more. If I could find a local buyer willing to pay 60% of the listed price I'd be pretty happy.
I also noticed that several of the pricey ones I have were put out by Sire records. I probably need to check that out a bit too.
oh, oh, oh....... so glad I don't live closer to you. I'd spend far too much cash.....
Are you into punk, little k? I thought you were a metal head.
I like punk. I would be all over that Hendrix, also. I might buy the Devo album for a friend who collects such things........

I am a buyer on e-bay. Got some great deals imo but it was items I was looking for. No matter what, you have to be careful when using on line sites.
