from the title, i thought it was the actor & son of Kirk Douglas who passed away. the TV host called himself Mike Douglas generally. he always seemed like a nice man to me, though i didn't watch his show much.

I loved Mike Douglas and Merv Griffin.

When I was a tweenie, my goal was to marry someone famous so that I could be on one of their shows - to be interviewed as 'the wife of'.

Things were different in the 1960's.

Or, if you WERE brazen enough to think you could be somebody yourself, it was someone like Joey Heatherton.

I remember Mike Douglas having Liberace on his show for an entire week!
