I wrote the below e-mail.

Subject:Cannot open downloaded files
Text: Dear Audible Customer Service, I tried to open downloaded files on iTunes, but the below message appears. "Could not authorize this computer because either your user name or password are invalid"

Which one of the two is correct? Both?

I tried to open downloaded files on iTunes.
I tried to open the downloaded files on iTunes.

Either one is acceptable, but "the downloaded files" sound rather awkward. Downloaded is functioning as an adjective describing what type of files are referred to, and a definite article is not needed.
