alot of americans don't even know where guam is, in spite of guam being a u.s. territory. we also have running water and electricity (most of the time).

That doesn't surprise me at all. Some people don't bother to know what's going on in other parts of the world and just assume that all countries besides the US are primative! It really doesn't bother me though. I just laugh, lol!
