Sign of the Apocolypse or greatest invention ever? Or somewhere in between?

Being a pizza purist by preference, I wouldn't touch that thing with a barge pole. On the other hand, I'm not against changing food, playing with recipes, thus I can tolerate the idea of others eating, pause, pizza with pineapple and ham., even understand. But I'm in the Apocalypse camp on this one, for global medical threat reasons.

@ossobuco,
Then I'd assume you wouldn't be interested in the hot dog stuffed crust pizza by ... Pizza Hut ... of course. Razz

I think we should give it a fair trial before condeming it. Just where is this Middle East. Around Gary, Indiana I suppose. If it catches on, it should be here in a matter of months.

@tsarstepan,
You're trying to aggravate me, aren't you? Hot dogs in the crust. Working up hot dog pies..

Cripes, that keeps the crust from being flaky.

Kidding.

It attacks the very idea of crust as a container but not the star.

I think fast food

I think fast food restaurants use their r&d scientists to think up the most bilious foods possible and then use advertising to make an already vulnerable public think it's the latest, greatest thing.

It's likely related to that upcoming eclipsical thing scheduled for your area on Sunday. It makes the brain start going wonkity wonk the closer the moon gets towards blocking the sun.

@tsarstepan,
a lot of pizzas are already reshaped cheeseburgers so it doesn't seem that weird to me

when I first saw it, I definitely thought about some of the funny old cookbooks from the 1950's and 1960's that I've picked up over the years

not sure I'd have one from Pizza Hut, but I'd consider making a homemade version for a summer party

meat/cheese/tomatoes/lettuce on some kind of dough

it's a classic
