I hadn't realized C & C had crossed the pond.

When I was a student some friends of mine had C&C LP. We got up in smoke for the film society at college. To be honest though, as far as hippy culture goes I've always been a bigger fan of The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers than Cheech and Chong.

I could see how the speach patterns/accents of C&C might not travel well.

Big Bambu came out in grade school, and one really progressive girl owned it.

She had memorized the whole thing, and would reenact all the parts for us. I went to catholic grade school, so sister mary elephant was a definate favorite.

I was in high school at the time, we all went around saying "Oh wow man" constantly.
