Sam Harris suggests (and I agree) that the majority softcore religious buffer, protect and legitimize the religious extremes.

If one accepts one simple nonsense as fact, then who is to draw the line at a hundred, or a thousand?

We all believe in some nonsense I am sure.
If benign, who cares?

I do not see anything benign in the links I showed above.

They are the tip of the iceberg, so to speak, of the child abuse that religion is.
At least the western style of religion.
