In the eyes of children, the world is very simple and easy.

Well, remembering back to when I was that age,
I was acutely aware that I coud not buy ice cream in the summer time
from the Bungalow Bar man nor the Good Humor man, if I were m t handed,
nor woud thay let me into the Carlton movie theater without my paying for a ticket.
I remember my mother explaining the value of money,
referring to coins, when I was 4.

My memory was and is that kids r not stupid.
All of my friends knew that cash makes the world go 'round.

I gotta believe its the same in Germany.

these kids must have been taking lessons from Paris on how to get good press,
I don't believe that they are as innocent as they act.

Guilty of WHAT ?

Three little children alone on a railroad station is enough to make a station guard suspicious that something is wrong

though German kids routinely use mass transit without adult
supervision to an extent that Americans would find shocking
.
Small kids in an area for intercity passengers would be highly suspicious though.

I think that has CHANGED.
I remember kids (meaning my friends and ME) taking public
transportation all the time at that age; even being required to do so,
going to and coming from school each day, but now,
I 've seen children in large numbers beign escorted,
apparently by parents, to school. I don t know whether
parents pick them up when school is over or not,
but there 's a different zeitgeist.

This 'marriage-tour' was done on New Year's Day.

The following Monday, they tried it again .... but were caught by their father,
at the bust stop next to their home.

The father now changed the house's lock/key system.
No reports about new tours since then.

Thay r locked IN ?
Well, under the circumstances,
I guess that was necessitated.

Why don't the parents just do a little mock wedding?

Yes !
On a hot day; have the reception at a swimming pool.

That's a great idea! I think this was such a cute story Smile

A mock wedding would be perfect.

If thay have a falling out,
shud thay get a mock divorce ?

with mock alimony ?
