I don't know what to make of this. Does David really suffer from sexual addiction, or is he simply preparing for a movie?

Given the role he apparently plays in Californication (what is that, btw, a movie? a TV series?), it's really first-rate P.R. His agent should get a raise.

It's a show on Showtime. And he is great in it. I never even liked Duchovny until this show. I don't know if it's true or not, but this rehab deal sounds like a perfect PR move.

You guys think he's a hunk? I don't recall anything I've ever seen him in, so I can't say. At first blush I think he's not my type.

Was there any publicity about him going into rehab? If not, I would be doubly suspicious about a publicity stunt in this case though.

He's smart too! He graduated from Princeton and got his masters from Yale
in Literature. He even started on his PhD, hasn't finished though.
So considering that most actors can't talk without a script, he's truly an
exception.
