@Roberta,
As far as I know we do not have any moose in Sweden.

@saab,
I looked up the picture which I found in Dagens Nyheter.
The picture is taken by Hans Cronert från Kristianstad - a city in south Sweden
and he says it is an elk and a hare.

@saab,
It is a question about language.
The British word for the Swedish word älg is elk.
The Amerikan elk is a Swedish kronhjort-
The British elk calls himself red deer, but still is different from an American
elk
A British elk is the same kind as an American moose.
A normal elk.
If we all spoke Latin is would be much easier Alces Alces.

Sure it's not a hare?

That's speciesist. Only rabbits can use the H word when speaking with other rabbits.

Cat blamed for turning on faucet, flooding Florida shelter

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A cat came with a flood warning when it was adopted from a Florida
animal shelter.

Officials at the Florida Humane Society in Pompano Beach tell the Miami Herald that one of its
cats turned on a faucet last week, leaving the water to run for 17 hours.

President Carol Ebert says the flooding caused water to run out the shelter's back door. No animals
were injured, but the shelter is seeking donations to repair floors, cabinets and other damage
estimated around $5,000.

Volunteer Terry Arbour says the shelter suspects a 6-month-old kitten known to play in the sinks.

The cat's name was not released. Arbour says the cat was recently adopted and its new owners
were told it was "intelligent enough to turn on water faucets."
